Took to listening to the massive KISS vinyl collection yesterday with the sad passing of 'Ace' (Ace Frehley, lead guitarist) - Oh the memories!
I noticed that I had some "duplicates" so this copy is "leaving home" ... Hi Ho Hi Ho, it's off to another turntable I go ...
When this song was released in 1979, no-one knew who the KISS members actually were - a closely guarded secret that was only made public in later years. Everywhere you could hear this song during the late '70s and early '80s - I especially remember the KISS pinnies (pinball machines) playing this song loudly while trying to control the ball(s) with those flippers, down at the local pub
This is the stuff memories are made of ... for me at least
KISS - I Was Made For Lovin' You
Casablanca Records
Cat# NB 983
1979
Australian Release
Generic Astor sleeve (bag) is in good condition, no seam splits, no tears and no personal writing. Record label (Side A only) does have a small section of Whiteout to obscure a previous note written on the label)
New inner plastic sleeve
The vinyl is in good (minus) condition, visually inspected under a bright White halogen light source and I can see quite a few very light ~ light hairline scuff marks on either side. Just looking at the vinyl is not a good way to judge the condition so I then played the ENTIRE release, both sides, and there are no significant issues with surface noise nor clicks n pops - KISS conquers all!
