Who is Amanda? An enigma is probably the best description ... she is a French model, singer, lyricist, TV host, actress and painter but her birth country is up for question, some say she was born in Hong Kong or perhaps Hanoi or even Saigon. Even her birth gender has been questioned and not entirely answered. Amanda was "big" in the 1960's Swinging London scene, apparently a muse of Salvidor Dali and she even used the stage name "L'Amant de Dalí" which means Dali's lover. But Amanda wasn't just involved with Dali, she had relationships with other well known artists of the day such as Bryan Ferry (even engaged for a short time) and David Bowie
Distinctive deep, sultry vocals! "She's Got The Devil In Her Eyes" (part lyrics of the opening song, Blood & Honey)

French release
Standard cassette case is in very good condition, meaning there are no cracks or pieces missing, no personal writing. but there is a slight 'Yellowish" tinge to the insert due to paper aging (NOT cigarette smoke!) Direct, Black pad printed Grey clamshell.
Before playing I repacked the tape (wound fully forward then backwards to the beginning so that the tape is retensioned) and carefully visually inspected the clamshell, rollers and head pressure pad - no issues with the shell or tape at all.
The audio is clean and sounds great, Amanda is just so "different" in her vocal style, it's great to hear something from the "left side". There were no problems heard at all with "drop outs" and the program material has been played on both Side A & Side B
TRACKS: Blood And Honey, Alphabet, These Boots Are Made For Walkin', Tomorrow, Pretty Boys, Alligator, The Lady In Black, I Am A Photograph, Queen Of Chinatown, Blue Tango
