Remember these guys? Saw them somewhere in The Rocks area early '80's and they certainly drew a crowd. I think they often performed with The Models too
MACHINATIONS - No Say In It (Machinations Cut Mix)
White Label Records
Cat# X 13169 Limited Edition
1984
Australian release
Cover is in good condition, no tears, no seam splits, no personal writing and only very light edge handling wear - all quite surprising as this cover is extremely thin paper based!
New inner plastic liner
Vinyl is in good condition, visually inspected under a bright White halogen light source and I can only see a couple of very light marks or scratches on either side, nothing of concern here BUT I also notice an overall "dullness" to the vinyl on both sides. This does not look like leeching from an old liner or excessive play time, more like an effect from low level heat. Just looking at the vinyl is not a great way to judge the condition so I then played the ENTIRE release, all tracks both sides. The vinyl plays FLAT (no warping) and there are no significant issues with surface noise although I can hear a slight elevated level of surface noise during the run-in on either side. Hard to tell if this surface noise exists while the song is playing, not a lot of quiet periods here! There were no issues with clicks n pops at all - nice "stretched out" version of this very successful song from the band.
