Yellow coded insulators, typically indicates the intended use was for analog video signals but perfectly fine for general single channel audio use as well.
Typically used by inserting into an existing signal path (audio or video) and uses the spare RCA socket as a take off point to other equipment, just like a Y cable.
NEW (Old Stock) adapter from the workshop drawers, this has always been in the sealed packet.
NO tarnishing to the solder pin connections
I would call this a "general purpose/consumer grade" small signal adapter for audio or video use where external access to the signal is needed without interupting the original signal path.
This adapter is back in it's own sealed clear plastic packet, waiting for another workshop to go and live in!
