Handy DIN connector to have "around" if you are working with DIN standard gear from Europe, often this type of connector is used on equipment rear panels for audio in's & out's plus some control functions.

I would call these "consumer grade" line sockets with the flexible plastic outer sheath which fits over the inner two part metal body (with locking push lever) and the socket sitting within a groove inside this body. Simple compression cable clamping and a plastic tail to provide some cable exit support.
These line plugs are in individual sealed clear plastic packets, waiting for new workshops to go and live in!
