Tired of all the "commercial" Beatles songs? This double album takes you back to the early days, when the boys were happy, down playing their success a bit and just enjoying what life was throwing up at them (except for the false stories in the press)
This release is in glorious monoaural sound (same sound from both channels), the way things used to be in those days although the sound has been cleaned up (remastered) it has not be pseudo "stereolised" thank goodness.
A real treat for The Beatles fan ...

Australian release
Remastered BUT mono recordings
Double CD case, front cover, inner multipage booklet and rear inlay are all in good condition. If I was to make any comment about the case, it does seem quite difficult to close. I suspect the front and rear clear covers have been changed in the past so when closed, the fit is "tight"
Both CD media are in very good condition, visually inspected under a white halogen light source and I can see no marks or scratching on CD 1 and . Just looking at the media is not a great way to judge the condition so I then played the ENTIRE release, every single track on each CD, and there are absolutely no playback issues with any track at all
