Radio Nederland is no more ... this was a public broadcasting service which used various shortwave frequencies to give "the rest of the world" a taste of Dutch culture, in this case, their music. Their shortwave services ceased around 2012 although Radio Netherlands still broadcasts on FM and DAB but uses a totally different program format, .
Transcription records were distributed and used exclusively by the broadcast industry, specifically to promote culture and often provided sample songs from selected local artists.
This compilation offers some great music from a number of Dutch artists with the record being organised by genre, Side A is your Pop Rock and Side B has a number of great Hard Rock & Metal offerings.
The majority of songs have English lyrics (hint: look for the song titles that are written in English)
This record is "standard" 12" vinyl and can be played without any special equipment

Cover is in very good condition
Inner clear plastic sleeve is new
Vinyl is in good condition, visually inspected under a white halogen light source and I can see a couple of very light scratches on each side. Just looking at the vinyl is not a great way of judging the condition so I then played this release ENTIRELY, all tracks on both sides, and there are no significant issues with surface noise nor clicks/pops.
New plastic outer protective cover
