If you haven't previously dived into the world of YELLO, brace yourself for the exciting world of alternative, experimental electro synth pop. Great rhythms and unworldly sounding lyrics ... OH YEAH (with a very very deep voice!)
YELLO - 1980-1985 The New Mix In One Go
Mercury Records
Cat# 826 773-1
1986
Australian release
Gatefold cover is in good condition, no personal writing, no external tears but there are the glue remanent stain marks remaining from a previous label on the front, top left hand side. Inside the first record pocket is also the single printed sheet (Dieter & Boris photograph plus the other side is a promo for their other albums)
New inner plastic liner sleeves
Both vinyl records are in good condition, visually inspected under a bright White halogen light source and I can see a couple of scratches on Record 1, Side 1 (Track 3) but Side 2 is good and Record 2 is good both sides. Just looking at the vinyl is not a great way to judge the condition so I have played (with great joy!) the ENTIRE double album, both records and all tracks. Surface noise is not an issue and those scratches on Record 1, Side 1 cause just two medium level clicks and then no more ... what a great play of this very interesting (to me) music from Yello - play LOUD!
New outer protective plastic sleeve
RECORD 1
TRACKS: Daily Disco, Swing, The Evening's Young, Pinball Cha Cha, I Love You, Vicious Games, Sometimes (Dr. Hirsch), Base For Alec, Oh Yeah
RECORD 2
TRACKS: Lost Again, Tub Dub, Angel No, Desire, Bananas To The Beat, Koladi-Ola, Domingo, Bostich, Live At The Roxy
Just stunning!
