DISCO NIGHTS (20 Original Hits 20 Original Stars)

Cat# NA523

1978

Australian release

Cover is in very good condition, no seam splits, no writing, no tears and very little edge wear from handling.

New inner plastic liner sleeve

Vinyl is in good (minus) condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I could see any significant scratches on either side. Just looking at the vinyl is not a good way to judge the record condition so I have played this album ENTIRELY, both sides completely, and Yes Sireee ... THERE ARE ARE ISSUES ... not with surface noise but on Side 1 those scratches (which didn't look bad) certainly cause some problems on a couple of tracks. Please see the track listing below for the details ... those songs that are troublesome have different coloured highlighting plus a short summary of what happens when played. Surface noise isn't an issue though and neither are clicks n pops, just the scratches that are causing a bit of trouble during the first few tracks on Side 1.

Side 2 is well behaved (Good boy!) and has no mistracking or surface noise issues

New outer protective plastic sleeve

ARTIST - TRACK:

Village People - Y.M.C.A ** 2 short mistracks

Plastic Bertrand - Ca Plane Pour Moi

Boney M. - Rasputin

A Taste Of Honey - Boogie Oogie Oogie ** 2x mistracks then some low level clicks but just before the end of this song, suddenly skips the inter-track gap and goes straight into La Bell Epoque (Black is Black)!

La Bell Epoque - Black Is Black ** this track begins with about 3~4 short mistracks, not good! However after the scratch is passed, all is good.
