HISTORY:

My "world" is 'the arts' and more specifically, music, artwork and hand crafted/decorated chinaware's.

I am not a film enthusiast but an associate has asked me to find new owners for THEIR large collection of photographic and film items ... this is one of the stranger items although it may remain useful as a "test film"

Basically it is a "home movie" taken indoors of a family celebrating a young child, a ceremony of some type. The colours remain very good although it would have been nice to have some "outdoor colours" in the shots!

I tend to be quite detailed in my item descriptions, please READ all the details to decide if this item may interest you.

Now, on with the description ...

COLOUR TEST FILM - Super 8mm Film

As there was absolutely no labelling, I have added a paper label (not stuck onto the case or reel) to identify the content

Reel capacity: 50' (almost full)

Reel is Made In Australia and the case is called a C600

NO SOUND

The content on this film is of a family child's celebration, all filming was undertaken indoors - this is a "home movie" in every sense of the word.

NO leader film is fitted.

The colour and picture focus is good ...

Definitely from the 1970s, nice old CRT television in some of the shots

TESTING:

I test played this film on my ELMO 1200 projector, running at 24fps

The projector film path has been completely cleaned prior to running this film through the machine. I now have a "running sheet", my maintenance schedule if you like - I record when each maintenance is performed because I am running a lot of films through the machine.

NO leader film

NO sound track

Plays well, I played the entire reel through the projector. I did notice that some of the movement is a bit fast, I think I should have been playing this at 18fps but unfortunately my test projector has an issue with this speed, I was forced to test at 24fps

All colours are fine, no issues

I have now repacked the film back into the C600 case and then sealed in clear plastic to maintain the condition while it awaits a "purpose in life"

USED EXACTLY as described
