USED
Extracted from an Australian Federal Government agency communications equipment, originally manufactured in UK.
The lead is intended to have the BNC female connector panel mounted and the pigtail runs to the RF input or output on a PCB.
The cable is high quality MIL spec RG179 with PTFE high temperature dielectric so the coaxial shield can be readily "sweat soldered" to the PCB track without it melting!
The coaxial cable is "Tensolite" trade name, manufactured by CARLISLE INTERCONNECT TECHNOLOGIES (USA)
BNC Female Socket ~ RG179 Pigtail
Pigtail comes in two lengths, choose which suits your purposes
Manufacturers trade name: Tensolite
Coax type: MIL-C-17G RG179
Nominal impedance: 75 Ohm
I have multiple numbers of these leads, most have at least partial manufacturer identification printed in Black and running vertically on the sheath, it all depends upon which length of coax was cut to assemble the lead originally.
The panel mounting BNC female connector does not appear to be branded, I could not find any identification stamped into the metalwork but it "looks" very much like a Radiall manufactured product.
BNC connector has one flat side to the rear thread for secure positioning in a panel
BNC connector lock washer and nut are supplied
Coaxial length: Choice of 55mm or 160mm length
The coax to connector termination is crimped (by the manufacturer)
The "distant end" of the coaxial tail is bare conductors, as removed from the PCB
COSMETIC CONDITION:
This condition report relates to ALL of the pig tails I have on offer
USED
CLEAN
NO body damage to the BNC connector - like new in fact
NO damage at all to the RG179 coaxial sheath
Each pigtail is individually packed in a sealed clear plastic packet
*** The photograph shows multiple pig tails, I am offering in the advertisement price ONE PIG TAIL ONLY, not all of them for this price ***
