HISTORY:
This Airpax high current capable circuit breaker is absolutely brand new, never feeling a milliamp of current pass through it! Three of these were extracted from the EATON ePDU (USA) that I have had here for ages (new) but no-one had an interest in it (probably because it was designed for a 3 phase supply) Three phase supply = three circuit breakers.
I decided it was time to undergo "the operation" and the EATON ePDU is no more, items of interest are now being offered separately.
These are normally quite pricey when purchased from a distributor (see the last photograph of the current listing from Mouser) but I am more interested in Sustainability and for these circuit breakers to actually be put to work instead of sitting inside an ePDU that no-one wanted.
So let's get on with the description ...
AIRPAX (USA) - Circuit Breaker
Made in Mexico (under licence)
Part #:LELBX11-36758-1-V
20A operation
25A trip current
250V AC maximum
Although not indicated on the package as suitable for low voltage DC use, I find conflicting information online about this, the new owner would need to research this further
Panel mounting (4x screws - supplied)
Screw terminals
Two pole operation, completely electrically independent but internally physically linked to operate at the same time. In the equipment this was designed to isolate both the Active (Phase) and Neutral lines, completely isolating the relevant output sockets on the ePDU.
Nice flat face when in the "normal mode" and upon activation, the rocker actuator drops down at an angle - it is easy to see that the CB has detected an overload and operated.
Plenty of more detailed specifications and mounting information online at multiple sources.
COSMETIC CONDITION:
NEW (but removed from NEW, never used EATON ePDU equipment)
CLEAN
NO physical damage at all
To maintain the current "as new" condition, I have sealed each circuit breaker within a clear plastic packet.
NOTE: While three circuit breakers show in the photograph, this price is for ONE only although if purchasing 2+ then an automatic discount does apply at the checkout.
