The dating of this knife has been based principally upon the artist and gilder's marks to the underside of the knife, along with a simple printed Black print (under the glaze) MADE IN ENGLAND but no works backstamp is showing.
UNDERSIDE MARKINGS:
This is the underside of the knife

The two worker's marks are clearly showing
COSMETIC CONDITION:
USED
NO cracks
NO chips
NO signs of glazing breakdown (Dry and Wet)
NO discolouration to the artwork
NO discolouration to the base White (not a bright White but neither is it a Creamy White)
