A really interesting look at single releases of varied genres and not just UK but other international releases on both 7" vinyl (my particular interest was the UK punk scene) and CD media.
Not just a boring reference book but a lot of comments and information is provided by Garry throughout the book and so so many photographs, both colour and monochrome.
This quality hardcover book was part of our "musical library" in the days when I ran an audio post production facility, just one owner (me/the business) although it has been affected by "sunlight fade" slighty.

The style of writing is not a boring reference guide (although there is a lot of detailed information) but the focus is on Garry's comments about each and every artist, the significance of their single or music. Most informative was the not-so-well-known artists, the more obscure music which was of great interest to our business and me personally.
So just which artists does Garry talk about? I have added the list of artists which is at the back of the book (a great way to find a particular artist without having the scan through the whole book)
Absolutely unmarked (no names written in the book) and no rips, tears, or other physical damage damage BUT ... I have noticed the outer front and rear area near the spine is slightly Yellow discoloured. This sat on a bookshelf near a window, I am assuming this is sunlight fading effects.
NO "foxing" is present on the pages
NO missing pages! I enjoyed looking carefully, page by page, to ensure none of the staff had ripped out a page or two! No pages are missing
NO corner curls
Very clean
For all intents and purposes, I would describe this copy as "very good" condition
To protect it now that I have written up this description and taken a few photographs, it is now in a sealed clear plastic packaging awaiting another appreciative music "historian" to take ownership.aintain the present condition I have now placed the book within a sealed cello-wrap package
