Why do you show so many items that are sold Russ?

21st Mar 2025

I try to please, some like it that way and others not ...

Previously, when an item was sold or found a new home (some items are given away and not sold at all), that advertisement would disappear from view.

Some complained about this because they liked to use the information in the original advertisement for reference, the photographs and sometimes the links I have provided within an advertisement. Items that I have described in great depth often have photographs of the equipment that you will never find anywhere else, these can be useful to others who are servicing that same equipment. Links to external sites can sometimes be a let down if the linked site has removed the content, it happens.

Not happy Jan!

I decided to change the structure of the website so that when items were sold they did not disappear forever! The advertisement remains on the website but has a SOLD banner across the front page. All of the original information remains intact for future reference.

Most people seem to like this feature so I am happy ... now my clients are happier too! (insert smile here)
