Another year begins!

With 2025 behind me, it's forever onward and forward with 2026!

A lot to work through this coming year ... more film, more fine china and ceramics (thank you Wife!) and a fair bit of vintage audio gear to finally sort out. The big trouble is that at almost 71 years old, so much to do and the brain is firing fiercely but the body keeps saying "Hey, slow down Russ" It is very frustrating.

I am pretty concerned about the world in general, a lot of turmoil and some countries who are just itching for a major war with someone, anyone! Things could get very unstable on the International front and this may flow back onto Australia ... time will tell.

The "strange object" streaking through our Solar System is still behaving in unexpected ways and a lot of mystery still surrounds just what this thing is, to misquote Spock "It's life Jim, but not as we know it" Some podcasters are now suggesting that the object has been spewing forth a long long tail comprised of fine Nickel metal particles and that it is creating a magnetic connection between our Sun and Earth! Science Fiction in real life, imaginations running wild. My computer equipment got basically "cooked" late last year, I put it down to a line borne voltage spike during a storm (even though I do have external line filters in use) but now I wonder ... maybe 3i Atlas (the mysterious object) caused it! (Joke) Anyway, keep an eye on the news about this object, perhaps it is going to turn around (it has passed Earth now) and land in USA! Trump's secret weapon to achieve world domination.

The last paragraph is a bit of silly 2026 fun, I am far more firmly entrenched in reality and so it goes ... now where is that ONKYO amp I was going to look at?
