HISTORY:

More of my 'saved from the tip' components, extracted from a previous turntable but which one? I didn't record the manufacturer name or model for this item so it will be a case of checking on the details I have provided to establish if this rubber isolation foot may be useful for your own turntable.

Nothing worse than having a 'three legged' turntable which wobbles because a foot has gone missing!

UNIDENTIFIED MANUFACTURER - Rubber Isolation Foot

No identifying markings or stamping into any part of this component

Black rubber construction with an inserted nylon or plastic ring in the base.

The purpose of this foot is to physically & acoustically isolate the turntable plinth from the supporting shelving or cabinet.

The pillar has a tall shaft which is indented near the base so that it can fit into a hole on the base plate of the turntable, very similar in design to the AKAI AP-Q310 rubber isolation feet I have advertised on this website.

DIMENSIONS:

Main rubber section

Total height: 22.5mm (base to the top of the thin circular pillar)

The thin pillar is hollow, external diameter of this pillar is 4.75mm)

The wide base area is 37.75mm diameter

Into the underside of the base is inserted a nylon or plastic Black ring, this is 34mm diameter externally and it is 5.25mm wide

The thin pillar has an "indented" section near the base, this fits into the turntable base hole and is approximately 4mm diameter - this is a guide to the size of hole which should be in the turntable base material (often wood such as a pegboard)

I strongly suspect this foot came from a Japanese turntable, but no idea which make and model as I did not appear to have recorded the details when I removed it.

COSMETIC CONDITION:

CLEAN

NO sagging or degradation of the rubber in any way

NO damage to the plastic ring which is inserted into the foot

I have now packed this SINGLE acoustic isolation foot into a completely sealed, clear plastic packet awaiting a new purpose in life supporting another 'crippled' turntable!
