HISTORY:
My "world" is 'the arts' and more specifically, music, artwork and hand crafted/decorated chinaware's.
I am not a film enthusiast but an associate has asked me to find new owners for THEIR large collection of photographic and film items ... this is one of those items, the original promotional booklet for a range of 1970's home projectors.
Offered purely for the nostalgia - hi tech film technology for the everyday man (or woman)
Look at the price of the Mark 8 (which I have found here), A$149 (1970's money) which equates to roughly A$2000 in today's money - these were no elcheapo pieces of film gear although slightly lower cost than the SANKYO Super 8 camera that the owner had.
EUMIG Projector Promotional Booklet

COSMETIC CONDITION:
Well, it's been 50 years and usually this sort of thing gets thrown in the bin and this brochure was kept folded in an envelope so the centre area has obvious graphic wear but overall, this booklet is in pretty good condition.
Yes, the pages look a little grubby (I have given them a sterilising and light clean up)
NO pages are missing
NO tearing of the pages with only some small corner curls
A nice piece of memorabilia from those early days of home projection systems, once again Eumig also seems to emphasis in their marketing that a young lady can run these things - a projector for everyone to use and record sound onto their films.
I have now packed this brochure within sealed cellowrap (it doesn't react with papers) and then placed on a very stiff sheet of cardboard and sealed once again in clear plastic - snug as a bug in a rug!
