HISTORY:
My "world" is 'the arts' and more specifically, music, artwork and hand crafted/decorated chinaware's.
I am not a film enthusiast but an associate has asked me to find new owners for THEIR large collection of photographic and film items ... this is one of those items, the original promotional brochure for one of the owner's Super 8 cameras (I have yet to find the camera at this stage)
Offered purely for the nostalgia - hi tech film technology for the everyday man (or woman)
Look at that price, A$166 (1970's money) which equates to roughly A$2400 in today's money - these were no elcheapo pieces of film gear but Hey! you get the gadget bag thrown it!

Well, it's been 50 years and usually this sort of thing gets thrown in the bin but the owner kept EVERYTHING it would seem (I even found original Warranty and Service Record cards to a EUMIG Mark 8 projector I have here)
Yes, the pages look a little grubby (I have given them a sterilizing and light clean up)
NO part of the brochure is missing
NO significant tearing of the pages
A nice piece of memorabilia from those early days of home filming, even a lady could do it!
I have now packed this brochure within sealed cellowrap (it doesn't react with papers) and then placed on a very stiff sheet of cardboard and sealed once again in clear plastic - snug as a bug in a rug!
