HISTORY:
My "world" is 'the arts' and more specifically, music, artwork and hand crafted/decorated chinaware's.
I am not a film enthusiast but an associate has asked me to find new owners for THEIR large collection of photographic and film items ... this is one of those items.

Super 8//8mm Film Reels (EMPTY)
Probably these are the last of the empty 400' reels I could find, still plenty of "loaded" BW & Colour films to work through but it appears there are no more of these 400 feet reels.
Each reel is different and for this reason I have created a "selection box" for each reel that someone may like - the more reels selected, the lower the asking price per reel.
Country of origin is various or unmarked ... all details are provided below
400 Feet (almost 7" diameter)
Each reel has different characteristics, I refer to these reels as A, B, C & D
REEL A:
Plastic opaque Purple
Stamped into each side RCT RODOX COLOR TEKNIX
Stick on Yellow label "DENNIS Co. Box 94 61600 Aby SWEDEN"

NO film scales on either side
REEL B:
Plastic opaque Black
Stamped into each side is NOTHING - nada zero, zilch markings on either side
Special note: this reel "feels" less like it has less strength in the construction due to the thinner plastics used - not warped but just thinner. Measured at 2mm thickness (as compared to the Purple reel which is 2.5mm thickness

REEL C:
Plastic transparent Clear
Stamped into each side ROSLEY

Has the expected film length scales (feet & metres) on each side
SPECIAL NOTE: Around the hub is some light discolouration, it almost appears to me that some glue has been added at some stage, perhaps the two halves came apart and this was repaired? In any case, the reel is straight and true, without warping.
REEL D:
Plastic transparent Clear
Stamped into each side is NOTHING Nada Zero, Zilch!

NO film length scales (feet & metres) on either side
SPECIAL NOTE: This is the most rigid reel due to the construction and the thick walls compared to any of the other reels, I measure this thickness at 2.6mm
COSMETIC CONDITION:
These comments about the condition of the reels being offered equally applies to ALL of the reels I am offering.
USED
CLEAN
NO personal writing on either side
NO significant scratches on either side - in fact all of the reels have barely any "marks" at all, other than the two with the Yellow stickers.
*Straight & True*
NO cracks at all or chips in the outside rim area
I am not offering a can for these reels, just the empty reel - I have now individually sealed each reel in clear plastic and it is stored vertical standing. When being shipped, I always create a strong "custom made" box into which these reels can travel safely without the risk of damage or cracking while on the move to their "new projector home"
