Another (the last) of my UNTESTED baby valves
I have been slowly working through his old valve stock, all the big tubes have gone now and this is the last of the "babies" that I can find
Some are boxed, some unboxed, ALL are untested valves - a mixed selection as described below...
I am 90% sure these will all test fine as my Dad never put away crook valves (why would you bother?) but as I have hastily sold off the valve testers, I cannot test them now.
Because I cannot be 100% about their condition, I am kicking these off at a low price - for THE LOT, not one valve.
I will ONLY sell as one lot, then all "orphan" valves are gone - there are no more.
Here is the details of what is on offer along with comments
1: 6BE6 - in a white box, suspect it is used as makers name rubbed off the markings
2: 6C4 Brimar - in original box and 100% this is new
3: 6AU6 Matsushita/National - in original box and 100% this is new
4: VR150 - in a NEC box but marked OA2 - likely to be new though
5: 6AQ5A (?) - in Miniwatt box but unable to confirm the tube (used and substantial wear to the marking) need to sit down and look at the elements to confirm the tube type
6: 6AQ5/6006 Mil Spec - wrapped in very old paper towel, possibly new
7: 6AU6 Matsushita/National - 5 units, no box, presumed to be used although tubes look in excellent condition visually.
7: Radiotron AWV - 2 units x 6AU6 no box, used?
8: Radiotron AWV - 6BE6 no box used?
9: Radiotron AWV - 6AV6 no box used?
NOTE: 7, 8 & 9 are the old red Radiotron print
10: 85A2 Toshiba/NEC - no boxes, 3 units are Toshiba 1 unit is NEC (85V Voltage reference tube)
11: 6AU6 Matsushita/National - no boxes, 4 units but only one I can read the markings, the other 3 units are definitely 6AU6's - most likely used
12: 6AV6 - no box, type number written with black pen...substantial marking wear and most likely used
13: 6AL5 Radiotron - no boxes, only one is clearly Radiotron AWV (red) the other 2 have had the markings rubbed off
14: 6AK5 - Miniwatt (UK) original box, looks to be new
15: 6V4 - Mullard boxed but not the original, suspect used
16: 6DJ8 Matsushita/National - 2 units, boxed BUT both marked as noisy device
17: 5686 (low power beam output) Made In USA (Who?) Green markings, Ampex? no box but possibly new
10: 12AU7 - markings rubbed off but I know personally this is a "worker" as I used it to test some tube mics not long ago - unboxed
Any unboxed valve will be individually wrapped to ensure safe shipment.
