UNIDENTIFIED MANUFACTURER - MPP Capacitor
I suspect this is KEMET product but as it has no manufacturer marking, let's just say unidentified manufacturer - this was purchased some 30+ years ago!
Type: MP - Metallised Polypropylene
Nominal value: 1.0uF (1000nF)
Voltage: 250V DC
Manufacturers tolerance: 10%
DIMENSIONS:
31.5mm length x 12mm height x 5.9mm depth (oval shaped body)
Tinned wire leads are 36mm length x 0.7mm thickness
TESTING:
Being old stock, I tested measured this capacitor and the result is 999.2nF - this is well and truly within the 10% manufacturers tolerance figure, barely shifted after all these years!
COSMETIC CONDITION:
NEW Very Old Stock
CLEAN
NO damage to the body or leads
Leads are relatively oxide free and have surface 'shine' remaining, they will easily solder as they are.
I have now placed this capacitor into a sealed clear plastic packet while it waits for a new workshop to live in
