Oh Dear! This item has been sold but take a look around for other similar items

Paul Robeson was an American actor & singer with a distinctive, powerful, deep bass voice. He performed both on stage and in movies, particularly during the 1930's but also was very active supporting the USA war effort during WWII although his pro-Russian stance saw him caught up in the infamous McCarthyism period (anyone suspected of not having total allegiance to USA was in many cases treated extremely badly) subsequently losing his right to a passport until it was restored in 1958

Fantastic voice from 75 years ago!
