UNIDENTIFIED MANUFACTURER - MPP Capacitor
I suspect this is KEMET product but as it has no manufacturer marking, let's just say unidentified manufacturer - this was purchased some 30+ years ago!
Type: MPP - Metallised Polypropylene
Nominal value: 2.2uF (2200nF)
Voltage: 250V DC
DIMENSIONS:
31mm length x 16.75mm height x 10.6mm depth (oval shaped body)
Tinned wire leads are 41mm length x 0.7mm thickness
TESTING:
Being old stock, I tested measured this capacitor and the result is 2.17uF or 2172nF - although the tolerance is not marked, this is very close to the nominal value (in fact it sits at around 3% low which is very good)
COSMETIC CONDITION:
NEW Very Old Stock
CLEAN
NO damage to the body or leads
Leads are relatively oxide free and have surface 'shine' remaining, they will easily solder as they are.
I have now placed this capacitor into a sealed clear plastic packet while it waits for a new workshop to live in
