EVERY workshop and roadie needs a lot of different adapters in their "kit", so often there is a need to reliably join two types of connectors either on the bench or in the field.
I had to take a "double take" with this adapter as it appeared so much like a bantam sized socket (4.4mm), but it is not. Definitely a 3.5mm plug for this one!
All metal, chrome finished adapter which is "tough as nails", no delicate plastics (how often have you heard that "crunch" under your foot when stepping on el-cheapo adapters lying on the floor)!

Country of origin is unknown although I "think" we imported these from UK originally

The entire body of the adapter is "ribbed" making it easy to grip
As far as I can tell, the metal body does NOT unscrew (I tried but with no success) so you cannot get inside
