Never heard of TAIWAY? They are Taiwan based and have been in the switch business since 1975 and are now a global company with a very good product reputation - with multiple certifications of their production and products.
TAIWAY (Taiwan) - Toggle Switch
Type: DP1-7200B1 (DP-1)
Body of the switch has stamped into the metal body the type number on one side and contract rating the other.
Panel mounting (supplied with 2x washers/2x nuts)
Requires 6.1mm hole for the mounting
Threaded shaft, 10mm length
Round SHORT toggle lever (4.5mm)
Action: ON - ON (Contacts changeover) Double pole double throw
Sealed switch
Solder terminations at the rear, these are gold plated
Contact ratings: 0.4VA
This is the only rating stamped into the switch, you don't see VA ratings much when it comes to switches. So (assuming a power factor of 1) the switch is rated for currents of just 1.6mA switching @ 250V or 33mA @ 12V! These switches are NOT designed for power switching with such a low VA rating and should be used ONLY for signalling or audio switching.
