Oh Dear! This item has been sold but take a look around for other similar items

Carefully removed from a vintage Yamaha YP40 Electric Piano/Clavinova - this assembly is now offered to restore other Yamaha keyboards.

Known to also suit use with the Yamaha DX100 Synth and I also seem to remember this assembly is used in the DX7 as well. It is extremely likely this assembly will suit other vintage Yamaha keyboard instruments, check your service manual or check the PCB ID is the same as this one.

Yamaha Key Contact Assembly

Part # MH4394HB (LE00040)

33 leaf key contacts with printed circuit board

Plastic framework

8x mounting screws also supplied

COSMETIC CONDITION:

Very good condition, no leaf deforming and all switch contacts are clean

Printed circuit board is undamaged

Plastic framework is undamaged, no cracks or stress damage.

TESTING:

This key contact assembly is fully functional and without any issues at all.

This assembly sits to the left handside of the keyboard (underneath) providing switching for the remaining 33 keys.

It was removed from the vintage YP40 because the "E" finger was mechanically damaged. This was the only thing wrong with the YP40 but there was no interest in the complete instrument with one key not functioning!

Since removal from the instrument, this assembly is now stored on a stiff cardboard support and within sealed plastic to protect the contacts from dust and contamination.

Condition exactly as described Non-returnable used product
