We bought this quite a while back but instead installed a completely different system more suited to our needs, this unit was put aside in the "hmmmm, maybe we can use that later" area of the workshops but well .... it never happened and it is time to see if anyone else can make use of this alarm system.
While "dated" by today's standards, this alarm system would still be useful where protection of a "special area" such as the garage, workshop or "shack" is needed but without spending big dollars.

The advertisement is for the main unit (or panel board) ONLY, yes we do have the keypad used for control & programming and accessories such as Sirens, Horns, IR Movement detectors etc .... links to those other items are provided below.
The various components of the complete NX-4 Alarm system have been advertised as separate items to provide the maximum flexibility to those interested i.e some may just want the main unit while others just the keypad module (commonly sought after due to keypad damage by the user)

This is a basic but very flexible (via programming) hard wired alarm system, up to 8 zones can be protected (with optional expansion modules) and the system has been designed for use in residential and small business settings. I do have some other option modules which MAY suit use with this NX-4 but I haven't found them yet - once found, they will also be advertised - as separate items.
I am not going to go on and on about all the features, one of the photographs should give an idea of the layout/intended configuration of the system.

COSMETIC CONDITION:
NEW in the original box, which is in very good condition.
Completely unused (all settings and programming are factory default)
The PCB main board inside has not been touched at all, in fact I was the first person in 20 years to check the contents today!
The 50 page programming manual was inside the box but lying on the bottom (too large to fit inside the unit case) so it has gone quite Brown over the years but it remains completely intact with no missing pages and is very readable.
To preserve the current condition of this manual, I have now placed it in sealed clear plastic.
