The buyer must establish beforehand that this remote suits their own SANSUI television

How?

Try looking in the user manual, if you have one.

If the manual is not available, try to see if the remote button layout looks "right" compared to your old remote - a bit hit & miss though, particularly difficult if the old remote is missing!

Please be aware that every single remote sends a unique code to the equipment under control, just because you may have a SANSUI television but this does not mean that this remote will 'talk' to it, usually each remote (even from the same equipment manufacturer) uses unique codes which will not work with other models.

SANSUI  - Remote Control ONLY

Retro (estimated early 2000's)

To be frank, although I am familiar with the wide range of SANSUI audio equipment I didn't know they manufactured televisions!

Model: Here's the 'rub' I don't know! The remote has absolutely no indication of the model number EXCEPT inside the battery compartment is a paper sticker which says

12R 04

and stamped into the plastic of the battery cover is

T203 D1 1-3

USED IR Remote control

Genuine SANSUI product NOT a 3rd party copy

Part number: Unknown

Looking at the controls, this remote seems to be entirely dedicated to controlling a television, a model that is also 16:9 widescreen capable. I tend to think that this remote post dates the very old CRT televisions and is more likely to be for a plasma model or early LCD/LED model. This remote has been in my "box of remotes" for at least 15 years!

Remote only

COSMETIC CONDITION:

USED

CLEAN

NO serious scratches, cracks or other surface damage - what I would describe as light topside scratching from normal handling.

ALL buttons are unworn and the labelling is easy to read

Battery compartment clean and undamaged (no rust or corrosion due to leaking batteries!), this uses 2x AAA batteries

TESTING:

Being a used remote, I check any remote to the best of my ability

My testing method is to insert batteries and "look" (using my security camera's) for the IR emissions from the remote control and ensuring every single button sends out an IR code. I must assume though that the codes being sent are correct, I do not have this model of television!.

ALL buttons on this remote are functioning great!

Stored/supplied in a sealed plastic packet to maintain its current condition

Batteries will NOT be supplied (2x AAA batteries) to prevent any issues with Australia Post (they are very risk adverse to shipping packages with batteries inside) and also this keeps the shipping weight down to a minimum

USED Exactly as described
