Workshop spare power adapter, one of many that I have and are now looking for new owners ...
Flexibility is the name of the game with this adaptor, a range of slide switch selectable output voltages and the tip of the DC plug is reversable so you can have the centre pin + or -
This is a linear power supply, unregulated with a maximum current capability of 500mA @ 12V (6 Watts power approximately) - as the voltage is lowered then more current can be supplied e.g at 6V DC output you could expect to be able to draw around 1 Amp from this adaptor.

TESTING:
I test all of my used items, whenever possible, the readings below are ALL with no load so they will be higher voltage until equipment is actually drawing current

COSMETIC CONDITION:
CLEAN
NO damage to adapter body
Cooling 'slots' around the transformer are clean and clear of dust & dirt
Slide switch (to select the voltage output) moves smoothly to each 'click' position, nice positive action that stays in place once set.
NO damage to the or the DC lead or reversible plug
If you wished to use your own reversible plug, the pin spacing is 3mm and the plug pins look to be 1.25mm thick (a bit hard to get the micrometer inside the plug)
Now that testing is finished with, I have placed this adapter into a sealed clear plastic packet ... it is now patiently waiting for a new owner!
