The company, SHARP CORPORATION (Japan) was one of the many Asian electronic goods manufacturers that appeared on the Australian market when the tariffs on electronic goods from overseas were removed in the 1970's and the steady decline of Australian electronic manufacturing had begun - we just couldn't complete on a cost basis.
This name badge has been removed from the GS-5640 "All In One" audio system from Sharp.

Circa 1970's
Material: All plastic with that "lovely" "let's pretend this is Chrome" look/coating
DIMENSIONS:
24mm wide x 25mm high x 6.35mm thick
Rear, twin securing pins 3mm diameter x 13mm length and spaced 13.25mm apart
Pins are inserted into holes and glued, no screws or bolts used
COSMETIC CONDITION:

CLEAN
Badge body is physically undamaged
Twin pins at the rear are straight and have not been stressed (plastic)
Chrome On Plastic coating is in good condition
Front of the badge has no scratches or marks - Black area is clean and the SHARP text is unworn
To maintain the condition, this name badge has now been inserted into foam and placed within a sealed clear plastic packet
