Truly only for Japanese technological historical value and not much more, even those who like to experiment with the sound you can get from old microphones would most likely pass this one over!

Pretty sure this microphone was a Sharp tape recorder accessory.

TESTING:

Plugged into the mixing desk today and all is well, no issues with the audio although it is certainly nothing startling! Lo-Fi is probably the best description.

DC resistance test of the microphone is 425 Ohm

 

Cable is now rolled up, secured and the microphone placed in a sealed clear plastic packet ready for a new owner who is looking for a bit of Japanese technology history
