Oh Dear! This item has been sold but take a look around for other similar items

Excellent quality and flexibility for Eurocard prototyping/R&D

Manufacturer is unknown but suspected from Germany, very similar in style to the IRT frames - very high quality build and secured with four threaded bolts.

Ex broadcast equipment

3RU aluminium eurocard frame

Maximum frame depth is 295mm and you can move the back rails forward to 95mm from the front if you have very short cards.

OPEN style i.e it has the sides of course, front/rear rails but NO top or bottom plate or shield.

Standard 19" rack width

Supplied exactly as pictured, the photographs tell the story

Note: Rack ears are built into the design, you cannot remove them

Supplied with:

28x (14 sets) of very nice card guide rails - these are the top quality rails that use two lugs to fit snuggly into the rails, not the clip type.
All rails are in excellent condition, plastic has not become brittle although a couple have discolouration due to being near the original power supply.

A quantity of bolts/washers are also supplied - these are normally used for backplane pcb securing. You can also see a pair of brackets, this was used for the power supply mounting originally.

These units are perfect for prototyping/development of equipment design by providing user flexibility in the location and fitting of internal cards.

This is your basic building block, you may well need extra rails etc and these are readily available from Element 14 or RS Electronics. These wholesalers even have blank eurocards for the individual modules that then slot into these frames, using guide rails.

All bolts are threaded, not self tappers!

Separately we will also be listing a number of power supply modules, front panel material and DIN 41612 connectors that are commonly used with these frames.

These are high quality precision frames, working with these is a bit like playing with Meccano (if you can remember Meccano), very flexible developement environment.

Here is a link to a Element 14 webpage to give an idea of how pricey these can be, depending upon the features chosen.

Note: although a 19" 3RU frame, we are happy to carefully disassemble and ship as a "flat pack" because that will be cheaper to ship although the buyer then must reassemble the frame (easy)

Condition exactly as described Non-returnable used product
