Pastel floral design all around the cup, foliage in a grey/silver colour (not metallic) with a pale lime green band around the base and also on the teacup handle.

Circa 1950's - 1960's

Dimensions (Cup) Almost 3.5" diameter at the rim (85mm) x 2.75" height (70mm)

Note the small hooked handle, suitable for ladies with long thin fingers!

Dimensions (Saucer) 5.5" diameter (137mm)

Backstamp (black) details:

(Crown object centred here)

FINE BONE

CHINA

MADE IN

ENGLAND

Artists marks are clearly visible on both pieces, these were very important to the artist as they were paid "per piece" completed

CONDITION:

SAUCER:

NO cracks

NO discolouration

NO crazing

NO wear to the hand painted design

Some light to medium handling wear to the gold gilding on the top edge

TEACUP:

NO chips

NO discolouration

NO crazing

NO fleabites or chips

NO wear to the hand painted design but I can see a couple of tiny "dots or spots" where the artist has accidently touched the china with the tip of their brush - adds to the hand painted authenticity!

Only very light handling wear to the gold gilding on the top rim and also the second ring of gilding inside the teacup

A small 'blemish" inside the bowl, on the bottom, it is not a chip but feels "raised" and I cannot remove this mark (it looks to have been a potter's defect)

This is a very nice "dainty" teacup set with subdued colouring, quite attractive.
