Australian singer, songwriter and musician

Josh toured (again) in 2013 at various "smallish" venues, this copy was purchased when one of our staff went to the Enmore concert in Sydney, August 2013

This copy is NEW and until today, never opened! This album was bought by my business and has been sitting in the "record library" at my business (audio post production) ever since - now that I am cleaning up the thousands of vinyl records, this must find a new owner.

Why open it?

Yes, it was sealed in a sort of cellowrap/shrink material which is NOT good as it tended to squash the corners of the cover as the wrap shrank over the years. I have opened the shrink wrap and also done the following ....

PLAYED the album for the first time ever! Sure it might be new but I never trust "factory fresh" releases and have found duds in the past.

I then placed the vinyl in a PLASTIC liner sleeve, it originally came with a white paper sleeve and I absolutely detest them! The record companies don't use high quality paper and it sheds all over the vinyl, paper dust everywhere! I have cleaned the record (after playing) in my trusty MONK and it is nice and clean now, and protected far better than before.

I will include the original white paper sleeve for the sake of "originality"

Of course the double sided lyric sheet is also included.

So after that very wordy description, let's get down to the "nuts and bolts" ...

Australian special release

NEW cover is in very good condition, light creasing as mentioned above because of the outer wrap used when purchased (and it has never been opened until today) The double sided single page lyric sheet is included. No catalogue number on the record label nor is there a barcode on the cover.

NEW inner plastic sleeve (the old white paper sleeve is also included but not used)

Vinyl is in very good condition - I fiercely avoid the word "mint" even though this record had never been played prior to today - the highest comment I will ever give a piece of vinyl is very good because if it is still sealed, I will ALWAYS open the packaging to check the contents - even product straight from the pressing plant can have defects so I never trust sealed product.

Visually inspected the record under a white halogen light source I can see NO marks at all (not surprising really) on either side. However visual inspections can be deceptive and the only way to properly judge a record condition is to play it, ENTIRELY. I have then played both sides ENTIRELY using my wonderful Shure V15 cart and there are NO issues with surface noise or clicks/pops at all. Very nice play Josh!

SPECIAL NOTE: Dang! the spindle centre hole is "tight as"! It fits but "just" and you need to be careful when removing the record from the turntable spindle - be gentle!

NEW outer protective plastic sleeve will be supplied

TRACKS: Bug Eyed Beauty, The Beginning And The End Of Everything, Leeward Side, Haunt You Love, Warm In Winter, All The Very Best Of Us, Feet Of Clay, Horse's Head, Order Has Abandoned Us, White Lines Dancing, Stories That Get Told
