Yep, pretty obvious that this treasured album had a "mishap" (storm damage) a few years back which resulted in substantial cover damage! It's all cosmetic and the important part (the music) is intact thank goodness ... not a pretty "looker" but it's all about the music, right?

This is such a hard album to find and although I kept an eye out for another cover, it never came to be ...

Cover is in poor condition, no personal writing but the cover is barely holding itself together, in fact there is tape around the edges to try and stabilise it. Oh dear, due to the storm it became damp and when separated from my other treasured albums, parts of the graphic artwork completely lifted off - she is not a pretty sight! As you can see from the photographs, about 40% from the top downwards is "ok" and the rest just the base cardboard. In fact its purpose for me was simply to identify the album. Since the storm drama this album has been in a new plain White cover, along with this tatty old cover, with them both inside an outer clear plastic sleeve so I could easily identify the album. I will be supplying this album in the same way i.e inside a new White plain card cover along with the new inner sleeve and accompanied by this damaged cover and the whole "kit and caboodle" inside a clear plastic protective sleeve.

New inner clear plastic sleeve

Vinyl is in good (minus) condition, visually inspected under a white halogen light and I can see a few very light ~ light scratches and some sort of vinyl discolouration, particularly on the outer edges. The record label is discoloured on one side as well. Just taking a look at the vinyl doesn't cut it, particularly as this is the nice old "hard" vinyl that is so much more durable than modern soft plastics. I played the ENTIRE album, every single track, there are no significant issues with surface noise or clicks/pops. Oh yes, the first track on each side does have a slightly elevated surface noise level but nothing dramatic and yes there are a couple of short low level click/pops (not click click click which indicates a long deeper scratch) - love this music, a really good listen

TRACKS: I Think You've Got Your Fools Mixed Up, A Little Bit Of Love, Best Thing I Ever Had, Runnin' Wild, Take A Chance, The Oogum Boogum Song, Gimme Little Sign, Psychotic Reaction, I'm The One Who Knows, Come Here Girl, Birdman, I Like The Way You Love Me
