Oh Dear! This item has been sold but take a look around for other similar items

This record is absolutely steeped in history, not just because of the music but this record label W&G was one of the indie labels of the day, closing down in the 70's.
W&G was actually a subsidiary of a Melbourne engineering company, White and Gillespie which operated in the record manufacturing business from the 50's until the 70's

Cat# WG 25/2512

1965

This is the MONO release, it was later released in Stereo but had a colour photograph on the front colour - this has a mono photograph

Matrix codes: WG 25/2512-1 JW#16, WG 25/2512-2 JW#12

Cover is obviously worn, my assessment of the condition is good - small ring mark on front and larger ring mark on the rear, name written on the rear.

New inner plastic sleeve

Heavy vinyl, very good condition with a small scuff noted on Side 1 track 1 (tonearm not placed correctly when playing the record) and Side 2 tracks 2-3 a very light scratch - played both sides, no significant issues with playback.

New outer protective sleeve

Tracks: A World Of Our Own, Sinner Man, Open Up Them Pearly Gates, Myra, With A Swag On My Shoulder, Waltzing Matilda, I'll Never Find Another You, The Light From The Lighthouse, South Australia, Lemon Tree, The Wreck Of The Old 97, Morningtown Ride
