THIS IS A BOOTLEG RELEASE!

No label, artist credits or in fact anything much in the way of information except the track listing on the labels.

Bruce Springsteen & E-Street Band music encouraged a large number opportunistic entrepreneurs to "cash in" on Bruce Springsteen's popularity by creating masses of bootleg releases around the world, due to the popularity of the music and the "live and real" aspect of the recordings. The recordings are not edited to hell, these bootlegs can sometimes give a better idea of what it was like being at the concert - an un-sterilised recording if you like to think of it like that.

I do not know which bootleg release this vinyl came from, it has been sitting in my storage for years, un-played. It was a vinyl we were "investigating" because I think "someone" asked us (an audio production facility) to try and establish the source pressing company (collectors love bootlegs HOWEVER labels and artists do not as it is stealing their income!) but it was years ago so things are all a bit vague now!

Pretty sure this is 1980's source material and it is definitely NOT from the FOH desk, Bruce's vocals etc are obviously recorded within the concert venue, with plenty of crowd clapping (e.g I Fought The Law CLAP CLAP CLAP - sort of thing) and general noises of appreciation from the punters (and some conversations which I couldn't make out) - probably "watch out, there's the security!"

Curiousity got the better of me and I did a bit of detective work, I believe this concert was at Wembley Arena in 1981 (The River Tour), these songs are a mix of his concert set 1 & 2 and in the correct order performing order.

Yes, it is listenable but don't expect your high quality commercial grade recording - someone did this with a portable DAT or perhaps one of those nice compact SONY MD recorders.

All tracks are live performances

The vinyl is black and 120g, it doesn't look/feel "old", we got this copy around the 2000's and am I pretty sure this is when it was released.

Record label description:

Black (matt) background with white text/graphics

The graphics are a simple (and not very high quality) of Bruce Springsteen and Clarence Clemons (E-Street Band saxophonist) who died in 2011.

Matrix codes (etched):

Year of release is not known but most likely around the early 2000's

Country of release is not certain but I seem to remember that suspicions were this was recorded in UK and pressed here in Australia.

Generic white cover is new and in very good condition. Record label indicates Side Three and Four, so this vinyl must have been part of a multi-vinyl bootleg release.

New inner plastic liner sleeve

Vinyl record is in very good condition, visually inspected under a white halogen light source and I can see NO marks or scratches on either side. I then played this release ENTIRELY, both sides, and there are no issues with surface noise or click/pops.

New outer protective sleeve

Tracks: The River, I Fought The Law, Badlands, Thunder Road, Hungry Heart, You Can Look, Cadillac Ranch, Sherry Darling, Jole Blon, Fire

NUDE VINYL?!?! What on earth is that?

I am sorting through a large amount of vinyl (finally after 100+ days of Covid-19 lockdown I can get access to them again!) and I have a number of interesting albums that some low life has taken the cover off and didn't return it!

Nude means exactly this ...

Vinyl record, exactly as described below

New inner plastic liner sleeve

New outer white cardboard sleeve (completely unmarked)

New outer protective sleeve

I know the covers and the pictures on albums are what makes vinyl so much fun and interesting but it's also about the music ... this offering is just the music and no pretty/interesting pictures or information (other than that on the record label)

Tested as described in the description This item is not returnable, UNLESS not as described
