Fill Your Head With Rock - Double album set
CBS Records

Cat# SBP 473775

1970

This is a NZ pressing - NOT US or Australia

NOTE NOTE NOTE

This vinyl is with the inner sleeves ONLY - I cannot locate the cover

Inner sleeves are in good condition - mono photography

NO OUTER COVER

Vinyl is very good on Sides 1,2 & 4 BUT Side 3 has a couple of small but nasty scratches affecting Moondog & Amory Kane tracks - these do cause noise on those tracks.
Also I noticed a small indent on track 1, Lauro Nyro and something deposited on track 6, Al Stewart

So 3 album sides are great, Side 3 has not been treated very well though.

New inner sleeves

New outer protective sleeve for the whole double set as supplied without the cover.

ARTIST:TRACK

Chicago - Listen

Santana - Savor

Steamhammer - Passing Through

Blood, Sweat & Tears - Smiling Phases

Flock - Tired Of Waiting

Black Widow - Come To The Sabbat

Argent - Gunga Din

Skin Alley - Living In Sin

** Most of the above bands are well known however some basics on the others

Steamhammer - Blues/Rock UK band formed in 1968

Flock - USA Jazz/Rock band formed in 1969

Black Widow - UK band formed in 1969, known for early Occult/Satanism

Argent - UK Rock band formed in 1969 by Rod Argent ex The Zombies

Skin Alley - UK Progressive Rock band formed in 1968

Record #2 i.e Side 3 - has a couple of heavy scratches and up to 3 tracks may well be risky to play or noisy at best.

Laura Nyro - Gibsom Street

Leonard Cohen - You Know Who I Am

Moondog - Stomping Ground

Amory Kane - The Inbetween Man

Trees - The Garden Of Jane Delawney

Al Stewart - A Small Fruit Song

Tom Rush - Driving Wheel

Janis Joplin - Try Just A Little Bit Harder

Al Kooper - One Room Country Shack

Taj Mahal - Six Days On The Road

Mike Bloomfield - Don't Think About It Baby

Pacific Gas & Electric - Bluesbuster

Johnny Winter - I Love Everybody

** Again, here is some brief info on those artists which you may not have heard about

Laura Nyro - US Singer Songwriter of the time, a mix of New York pop, jazz, gospel, rhythm and blues

Moondog - USA blind composer, musician, poet - known as The Viking of 6th Avenue

Amory Kane - US born but UK based artist of the time with close associations to Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix

Trees - UK Folk/Rock band, little success in the late 60's but have since grown to an almost cult following

Tom Rush - US Folk/Blues artist of the time

Pacific Gas & Electric - US Blues/Rock band

Even taking into account Side 3 not being the greatest, the remaining music is just fantastic if you are into your late 60's Blues Folk Poets Rock music
