Ah Jim, left us so early and what about that terrible struggle his "wife" had after his passing? So sad, sometimes life just throws a lot of crap at you!

Jim passed away in 1971, just 27 years old. Pam was his girlfriend and what we might call these days, his "partner". She was his one and only, suffering terribly after his death dealing with a drug problem which eventually got the better of her in 1974. She was also 27 years old at the time of her death.

Jim Morrison was an icon in the days of psychedelica and we honoured his memory and that of the band and their music with this picture up on one of the studio walls. Our walls were covered in "notables" but a while back I closed down our audio post production facilities and now some of the memorabilia is looking for a new "home"

I am NOT offering this photograph as a "collectable", it could be but for us it was about the person and the band - I don't even know exactly when this photograph was taken and we tried finding out yonks ago but were not successful at the time. Perhaps the stage was small, certainly you cannot see any backdrops to identify the location and Ray is playing behind Jim instead of to the side. Robby is also on the right of Jim, often he was on the left - maybe the amp had to be on the right for some reason (Robby liked to be near the amp)

This was in a frame, suitably designed in the psychedelic realm but another person wanted that hand crafted frame so now I have just this lonely photograph .... NO frame.

JIM MORRISON (On stage with Robby and Ray)

The photographic subject is obviously Jim, sharply in focus whereas Robby and Ray are blurred with John "out of shot" completely

Monochrome

Matt finish

Fixed to a sheet of white polystyrene foam - NOT REMOVEABLE!

To be truthful, we were never sure if this was a "real photograph" or a litho print - it didn't matter to us, what mattered was that Jim was with the sound engineer while he worked!

You will need to get yourself a nice "suitable" frame and organise the framing of this photograph yourself!

DIMENSIONS:

270mm Wide x 187mm Height x 5mm Thick (due to the polystyrene backing)

COSMETIC CONDITION:

Very Good

NOT SCRATCHED

Clean (NOT Yellowed!)

Of course, this photograph is delicate and has been treated accordingly to protect it

It has now been sealed in cello-wrap, NOT "normal" plastic which can leech plasticisers into the image. Then outside of this cello-wrap is yet another sealed THICK clear plastic pocket. This provides some robustness as cello-wrap is pretty delicate.

If it is being sent in the Post, it will of course be sent within two sheets of very strong, thick cardboard - Jim will travel perfectly safely

USED Exactly as described
