Oh Dear! This item has been sold but take a look around for other similar items

A great multi-effects pedal for guitarists who are looking for a good sounding but affordable pedal, slightly later model than the RP50 I also have on offer.

HISTORY:

Our sound engineer liked to try out different pedals both in the studio and at gigs. Quite frankly he considered this pedal to be in the same class as the RP50V i.e "below par" for live work - all that plastic casing and it just isn't robustly enough built for live work. The battery compartment design is not great either, the batteries can easily "pop out"

Like the RP50V, this unit was switched to Chinese manufacture and the build quality is not so good as the original USA RP50 release

That said, for studio or home recording work though, he found it really good - the effects are "ok", not brilliant but acceptable.

Here is a link to some "real" comments about the various sounds and functions of this pedal https://www.harmonycentral.com/forum/forum/guitar/acapella-29/1717723-

TESTING:

This pedal has been in our storage units since we closed down our audio post facilities, so out it came and I powered it up both from the plug pack and also with internal batteries.

HERE IS A PROBLEM ALTHOUGH PROBABLY IT WOULDN'T BOTHER MOST USERS

Power pack use is fine, no issues

Batteries though are NOT WORKING - contacts are all clean and shiny and although I personally hate the battery holder, it does seem to be working but the pedal is not "seeing" the batteries so forget about using this pedal on batteries unless you get it repaired (why would you bother though quite frankly)

Tried various effects, all sounded AOK without any extraneous noises. Checked the guitar tuner and other auxilliary functions - all good.

Drum samples also checked out - all good here as well.

I cannot find issue with any of the functions, they still appear to be functioning as they should be

Tested as described in the description This item is not returnable, UNLESS dead on arrival
