The UNSW Student Organisation supporting student musicians though a musical competition allowing artists and bands to showcase their talents. The "best picks" were given the opportunity of getting a "spot" on this CD release and a chance to perform at the famous (if you are a NSW Uni student) Roadhouse Bar.
Judges who decided which artists should proceed to being included on this CD were:
Peter Garrett - (Midnight Oil)
Dan Zilber - Musical Director FBi Radio
Ulrika Lobo - The POD (UNSW Student pod cast)
Mastered at the famous Damien Gerard Studios, Sydney
Genre's vary, from alternative rock, pop rock, performance poetry (Scott Sandwich) through to experimental music which is very similar to soundscapes or ambient music
Take a close listen to track 10 (Barbara Bouville/Nee Montgomery) - the audio level is a bit lower than the other tracks (wind up the volume), very experimental and freaky!
I love these compilation releases, a chance to hear musical talent that in all likelihood you will never hear anywhere else - certainly most do not go through to a commercial sign up with a label but then, many artists create and perform music because they love it, they are creative and hoping to convey their feelings or thoughts through the world of sound, it is not always about being a commercial success and (if fortunate enough) making squillions of dollars!

CD case, front booklet and rear inlay are all in very good condition
CD media is in very good condition, visually inspected under a bright white halogen light source and I can see NO scratches or marks at all. I then played the ENTIRE release, every track, and there are no issues with playback
