Most photographs are full page and are of a very high quality
Being from 1987, the book tends to focus on the Neighbours era and her beginnings in music, interesting photographs of Kylie "goofing off" on the Neighbours set, photographs with Molly Meldrum (Countdown) and a very nice picture with her Mum. Of course, Jason Donovan features alongside Kylie in many of the shots.
The fold out full colour poster is intact, never been removed.
Stapling is in excellent condition - tight
ALL pages are clean with the possible exception of the rear outside page - very light dirty marks. Others we consider this book to be in very good condition
THE SIGNATURE:
Our daughter was the Kylie freak, all things Kylie were of interest to her.
Back in the 1980's our business was heavily involved in the Australian music industry and it is most likely that this publication was picked up at a "press the flesh" promotional function way back in 1987 - to be truthful, she cannot remember and neither can we.
It is extremely difficult to find photographs elsewhere of the inside of this publication to confirm the signature but after having a number of people check this book, it is believed the signature is both genuine and actually hand signed by Kylie not printed.
Actually we know the signature is for real (her early signings, full name, before she added the love heart to many of her signatures) and it is the hand written part we had to check very carefully.
It does seem to be a black felt pen used for the signing, looking very closely at the ink ... it is on top of the page and has that sort of shiny yellowish finish to the ink (it shows up in certain angles of light)
The lower signature, below the foreword is definitely just printed - the signature we are referring to is that which is to the left of the foreword.
This is an extremely rare piece of Kylie memorabilia.
