Ex workshop spare parts and small manufacturing stock

ALL devices have been sourced through reputable local distributors such as RS Electronics, Farnell, WES and Rockby (Victoria) NOT direct import Chinese (often dodgy spec) devices

While sorting out the drawers, trays, boxes and packs of transistors I have come across these little beasties!

This is NOT for each device, the asking price (to cover just a little time spent on these) is for all devices collectively

I cannot for the life of me figure out what they are (see my test comments below) but I am extremely reluctant to send these to landfill and hope someone likes a mystery and can perhaps find a use for them .... read on if you like a good mystery

MANUFACTURER UNKNOWN

Condition: NEW Old Stock (for what?)

No logo or other markings which may indicate the manufacturer on the packaging

Packaging: TO220 Plastic body

Two small indents on the front, on diagonal corners - these are quite important because they obscure the full part number

Devices are marked (quantity next to each in brackets) as:

x (unreadable) 410A

H127x (x could be a B)

(18x devices)

x (unreadable) T68

N (or M) 317x (x could be a A)

(3x devices)

Because of the indent in the two corners, the print is not clear on the first letter or number  on the first line and the last printed character on the lower print line.

I believe the first line is the type number and the second is the batch number.

Total devices: 21

TESTING:

Inconclusive results on a semiconductor tester, some devices were showing as BJT transistors, NPN, 25Hfe but then others looked like Thyristors and yet others just didn't make any sense at all - to borrow a line from Star Trek (Spock) "It's a semi Jim, but not as we know it"

SUMMARY:

These are all packed in sealed packets, one packet for each "type" of device (printing as above)

Hopefully of interest to the "semi sleuths" out there ... I am not going to spend further time trying to sort these out
