No ordinary pushbutton, this is something similar to a switch you will find in a motor vehicle front dash panel.
Two large finger button areas on the front of the switch, push one button and the switch activates and locks in position. Further pushing of that same button does nothing.
Push the other large button face and this releases the switch back to normal.
COMMENT: IDEC switches are commonly found across many industries and well known for their reliability. I must say, the tactile action of this switch is superb with a nice positive (but with little resistance to the push) action from one state to the other.
