I am cleaning up ALL the various leads, patch cables and raw cable stock that we had on hand in the workshops, this is yet another lead which was left over from our days delving into the world of PLC's, this cable is just waiting for a new purpose in life! I know that these types of cables are not limited to just PLC use, I had some previously and they were put to use in a vintage synth setup.

8 Pin means 7 pins around the circumference and an off centre 8th pin near the alignment notch in the plug
60cm length
8 core cable (unidentified) 6mm diameter
NOT shielded, do not run audio through this lead
Terminations at each end of the cable are soldered
Contact pins are Silver plated
I have made resistance tests on each pin, this is a "straight through" cable i.e Pin 1 to Pin 1 etc ...
COSMETIC CONDITION:

CLEAN
NO damage to the sheath
NO damage to either plug
The pins had developed a tarnish (common with "old" silver contacts) which I have now cleaned up to a nice shine.
