Way back in the mists of time, my business was involved with OMNI video products and kept on hand some spare parts such as laser loaders.
This DVD Laser pickup head assembly is from our spare parts supply and it suited use with the OMNI PDV750 & AIPTEK PDV750 Portable DVD players
While it is unlikely that anyone is now wanting to service their old OMNI PDV player, it could be that these laser assemblies (also called Loaders) MIGHT suit use with other non-OMNI equipment OR more likely, remove just the head pickup (1200 W-B) for use in other equipment.
It is up to the BUYER to establish as best they can that this laser head or the whole assembly may suit their purposes. I will not provide technical support, although if a laser assembly is suspected to be faulty (this is Chinese product afterall and sometimes we did come across DOA units) I am happy to replace with another unit if this is the case and it is established that the fault is with the laser assembly and not the equipment.

The first 3 rows of numbers/letters seem to be batch numbers, 1200 W-B appears on every pickup. I have compared this pickup head to known 1200 W-B heads and they are indeed identical in design.
Leads are fitted and the laser assembly has always been within the original ESD "bag" and cushioned with polystyro formed foam box (originally this box had 100 units inside)
I never undertook the actual head assembly replacement service (that's what our technicians were paid to do) but I have looked very closely at the lens assembly/flexible cables and there appears to be no "anti-static" solder blob to worry about - these must be "plug & play"
There are no installation instructions supplied with this unit - it is OEM product.

The body of the laser assembly (loader) has a label M 061 - I would say this is specific to OMNI
Some dimensions that may help you out ... specific to the loader body (marked as M 061)
3x rubber grommet suspension supports
Assembly body: 87mm x 95mm
Slide rails: 3mm diameter fixed in place with a screw at each end of the rail - this means removal of the pickup head is dead easy.
Weight of the whole assembly (bagged) 60g
SPECIAL NOTE:
So many times I read such terrible advice online regarding laser pickup heads - if it doesn't work "out of the box" PLEASE do not go screwing around with the two trim pots! Although mass-produced, these laser pickups are precision components and setup before leaving the factory. You need to have special test equipment to align a laser pickup so whatever you do, don't go in "blind" and just turn the pots to "see what this does"! Urghh!
