What is a collet knob?
This type of knob is used where a very secure fitting between a shaft and front panel knob is required but the knob does not require special shaft fittings nor grub screws.
The knob is fitted onto the shaft (in this case a standard 1/4" shaft, round) and the topside nut is tighened, this squeezes the inner metal ring against the shaft holding the knob to the shaft very securely.
Access to any collect knob is by carefully flipping off the top cover, it is a friction fit.

Supplied with a white plastic "spacer" which can be used underneath the knob if required - user choice.
Packed in sealed plastic to keep the knob clean and it will be supplied the same way.
