Topside, this socket has 681 stamped into the plastic - there are no other markings on the socket.
9 pin base
Brown thermoplastic material (initially I thought this may be bakelite but it is NOT)
PCB mounting (pins)
Dimensions: 19.95mm (top section) or 21.5mm if the "rim" is included x 9.5mm H
Side slot which I presume would be used for the fitting of a shield (not supplied)
COSMETIC CONDITION:
Stored and it will be supplied in a sealed plastic packet

DIRTY! Oh my, oxidisation is obvious with this socket, this is what happens when an old component has not been stored in a sealed packet. Not green though! and no oxide "dust" deposits but very dull and a good clean up would be required before soldering.
