USED

Ex 1970's domestic "solid state" receivers & radiograms, these Edison screw incandescent lamp sockets were designed for direct mounting onto a printed circuit board.

Not so easy to find this type of mounting in the old lamp sockets

UNIDENTIFIED MANUFACTURER(S) - Incandescent Lamp Socket

Material: Brass

Fits a "standard" incandescent panel lamp (usually these were 6.3V type)

One side of the lamp is connected to two tags on either side of the socket, these are soldered to the PCB (through hole)

The centre connection is made by a pad ON THE PCB, these boards were made with a raised area to meet the base of the lamp

DIMENSIONS:

Socket: 10mm diameter x 10.75mm height

TESTING:

Being old components, I have tested each socket that I have found ....

Testing made with a 6V DC source using the lamp shown in the photograph

I only had one (USED) spare lamp and this is included with the sockets on a FIFS basis (ask for it, First In First Served)

That lamp is 6.3V @ 250mA

COSMETIC CONDITION:

USED

Ex domestic equipment such as HMV etc

CLEAN

I checked the integrity of the socket and it is not mishappen. The bulb easily screws into place and STAYS THERE!

Brass metal contact areas are very clean

Each lamp socket is now individually packed into sealed clear plastic packets

USED Exactly as described
